That's fair. I don't recall wathing it as a child, but I watched it a couple of months back. It does stand up as a good kids' film, even if graphically, it's quite dated.
It's understandable to grow out of some films, considering they were made for children. For me, I can enjoy the Barbie films, I just don't like it when they focus too much on the animal characters, who are mostly just there for laughs.

Fair. I don't recall Nutcracker having the animals so it actually focused a bit more on the story in my opinion.
