Because who wouldn't want a huge, delta ghost-type Rapidash having a paddy?xD
But really. This is more rpg art for ~Pspynett , who is making an awesometastic pokémon rpg for us, just so that we could go that little bit further up the geek scale.
(On a side note, I seem to like drawing upset fiery horses - my last one was a nightmare friesian , but they are entirely unrelated.)
This is entirely traditional, done in markers (mix of letraset, letraset tria, kurecolor and prismacolor), mostly while watching House to keep me sane during the fiery bits. xD (Seriously, I nearly died. The fire lines are just pencil.) Also, the colours in person are better, because apparently not even the media room scanners can do colour accuracy.
But DAYUM I'm proud of this. :3 It looked awesome in my sketchpad for ages (being the only full-page thing in there) til I moved on to the next one and put it on my wall. ^^'

Lol, not really. I'd never even heard of Pandora Hearts (I presume that's what you mean?) before now. It's a delta ghost-type Rapidash, which is no less geeky, but I can see where you got it from. x)

Wow, this is amazing! Lol... and i love to see great pokemon pictures done well with a different media than the computer XD (i tend to use prismacolor markers or pencils). The body looks really really cool. how did you achieve that texture?

Thank you! :3 Yeah, I always like fanart that's done in a different style or medium to the original: it always just seems to have more character.
The body? That's just the texture of the paper. xD It's not special paper, but most unfancy papers have little flecks of resistant...stuff, where the marker doesn't stick as well. It's also exaggerated by the scanner. You can actually see it in the dark areas of the fire, but there's more detail there so you don't notice it. x3

It wasn't fancy, don't worry xD It just seems to happen to me with a lot of paper. >3> But have you seen what you can do with watercolours by putting salt on paper? It's awesome, but I've never done it.

Oh yes!! I've done that before! A month or so ago i did an acrylic painting of Nightcrawler on watercolor paper prepared like that. Yes, it does make for some AWESOME textures!
You know what's really cool is when you put down a wash of watercolor... and then put dish soap bubbles on top. Let the bubbles all pop by themselves and it makes the most wicked design lol ... i did one of those too. If i post it as is, i'll be sure to send you a link.

Washing up liquid bubbles, eh? Yes, do send me a link when you upload it. :3 I've done some fun things with washing up liquid. Like putting dye/paint in with it and blowing into it so that it bubbles all over the page and makes a pretty pattern. ^_^ Unnnnfortunately I think one time I did that when I was much smaller I accidentally...ingested some of it. That was not a good day. xDDDD Maybe I should do it again, now that I am older and wiser.

Yeah, I can imagine that getting pretty tedious. The only art I've been working on recently requires me to paint a lot of rock detail, and that's driving me insane. Takes so damn long. ;-; How long did the fire in this piece take you to do?
