Description Looking at this picture really makes me want to improve my drawing style... I'm just not satisfied yet. Something is not right. u_u

Anyway, here are Seiji and Shizuku from Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart. I really love this movie. It inspires me and always cheers me up. My sister said it was a boring movie, but I find it to be one of the most important of the films I love. It reminds me that you don't have to be a hero or live in a magical world to have a great story, just a big heart and the courage to share it. I hope to do more fan art of them eventually!

Seiji's right hand (the one holding the bow) is the single best hand I've ever drawn. I'm mad proud of it hahaha.

Very nice! Like the way you arrange the characters and the background. The shading and the colors can be better though, what did u use for this?

Thank you very much! I'm happy you like the composition and background, they're things I especially tried to improve on. I actually think there's a lot more that can be better (well, everything actually ), I just have to keep working. I used watercolour for this!

Um yes, and it disturbed me beyond description... I like didn't want to live anymore after watching it. But it's all good now haha. Have you seen it?

I loved whisper of the Heart!
was def different from the other movies cuz its more realstic and common,
but none of that takes away from what a great story it is
lol he asks to marry at wat age 15?.. lol o kids
but u have done very well in drawing them
may i ask, did u use colored pencils? or sometin else?

Sorry for the late reply! I completely agree with you. I think it's especially magical partially because the material is so commonplace yet special at the same time.

Well, he did say "someday"... Err... But he's so cute and I love him so much I'd totally say yes! Hahaha~

I know...I don't understand why more people don't love this movie - it's funny, sweet, unique, and kinda romantic! And let's not forget the excellent animation!

I absolutely love Whisper of the Heart !!
It was actually the first movie I ever watched from Studio Ghibli.
Its what made me check out all the other movies.
