Work that you made yourself cannot be uploaded to dA without the artist's permisson. This, and any/all other devations containing work you did not make yourself will have to be removed, or it will be reported.

There are millions of members and about 50 staff, I think, so yes, it is down to the user to report TOS violations. The staff reveiw reports, and take action, but they do not patrol people's pages looking for rule-breaking.

i still don't understand your personal reason to "police" what other users can and cannot submit. i can understand if you were part of the staff, but you're asking for a lot of dA users to hate you for this. no offence intended, i'm just trying to understand where you're coming from

Two reasons, really. DA's a bit of a shithole, with art theft left and right. There aren't enough staff to counter this, and since no-one reads the rules, SOMEONE has to tell them.
Secondly, people tent to make hilariously innapropriate reactions, which I then screenshot and upload for lulz.

to be honest, i don't blame them for their reactions when someone that's not on dA staff comes along and tells them what they can and cannot do.
