Description my submission for the new Lego Club contest, the G-31 interceptor! While the G-31 is not heavily armed, it is much more heavily armored than most interceptors. to compensate for the added weight, the engines are also much more powerful, enabling it to keep up with most other interceptor-class fighters despite it's heavier armour. the G-31 is rated for interceptor-class missions in both space and atmosphere.

This is all that is left of the Cutlass, which i took apart this morning. however, i still have not been able to bring myself to destroy the Sabre. i may not take it down after all.

To me, the heavy armor implies that it would be an excellent defensive fighter and good at escort missions too.

Have you ever noticed how almost every ship there is has one of two basic designs? Either the diamond/triangle shape,(think star destroyer or Jedi starfighter) or the more common "trident" shape. (Your G-31, my S-1, the X-Wing, and so on.)

so they do... even most of my warships have the same basic design, long and thin with wings at the rear- sort of like Klingons and i don't like the klingons!

Thanks! i meant to just do a half-arsed job and take it apart again, but i ended up putting some good ideas into it after all, so i think i'll keep it

I hadn't touched a brick in a long while... then I got my hands on a Hyena Droid LEGO kit for half price. After building the model once, I took it apart and used every single piece to build a Hovertank.

it's a cool fighter allright, but i sense it has a turning problem from the armor

like i care, i'd take the extra protection

so leave the Sabre intact already -.-
