Well here you go, ~Fangie , this is your award for claiming my 2,000th pageview on my recent kiriban. You originally asked for a grand piano, but this is pretty much the best piano painting I can do with the skill I have. I hope you like it. You are free to take the original from me when you arrive in Adelaide.

Otherwise, I hope everyone else likes this too.

**I felt like an idiot after painting this, because I noticed I missed a line on the music sheets. Fangie pointed it out, but said it was fine because she likes mistakes.

wow! the sheet of music on there REALLY adds to the picture... it's not like it's just an old piano sitting there... it's emotion. it's art. it's music with art.

Thankyou so much, I really appreciate the kind comment. It's interesting, really, because when I look at it, it's just a piano and music - but plenty of people seem to love this one for some reason. Like you said, perhaps the emotion is the main reason. Anyway, thanks.

I'm sure no doubt you can paint well, perhaps you need a bit of practice if you're inconfident of yourself. I always used to favour drawing over painting in the past, but now that trend has changed. Anyway, thanks for the comment.

Oh thanks! I was pretty pleased with the black/white thing too.

And nope, I've never tried charcoal before despite having seen some stunning results from other deviants here. I might give it a shot someday.
