Man.. my computer is now taking longer to boot....and my life seems to be getting worse by the minute...still I have to remain strong...I can't let it get to me if I can.This is done with my Tria markers due to the fact that using my computer is out of the question (other than scanning) for a while. *sigh* And when will I be able to get a new one? Try like maybe next year if I am lucky, or if I win the lottery....*mopes* Damn stupid loan..frigin... *coughs* Anyways, this took me a few days.
I actually prefer Beatrix over Steiner as a knight... and yet I have never drawn her...so I decided to draw this to strengthen my spirits, since she is such a strong female character. And why she chooses Steiner...in the end...is BEYOND me....
And this scan is not very good...her shirt is shaded....it is just a really bad scan... Now I need a scanner too... >_>This may be one of the last deviations for a while due to certain circumstances, that I will write in my journal...Sorry guys.

This is spectacular.
The linework is just gorgeous and the coloring is magnificent. THe way you did the hair shows the texture extremly well, but in a refined way. And the roses compliment her wonderfully

Even if this is a bad scan, the overall effect is lovely. You did a particularly good job coloring the light bouncing off her hair, as well as making the roses look like roses. Drawing roses and coloring hair are two of the most difficult things an artist can master, in my opinion.

Well what I did for this image was had real life roses in front of me, and sketched them. You see my mother had got roses, and it inspired me to draw the image actually. ^_^ Real life, is the best reference!

Beautiful. Just...Beautiful. The hair is probably my favorite part! It looks so real and...flowy! It has such a soft and gentle feel that you can detect in Beatrix in the game, but you never really see in the artwork related to it. :3

wow! this is hands down the best Beatrix art I've seen (and I'm talking official too.. better than anything they came up with for the official artwork!!!) I love the colors, and the rose adds a nice finish to her. I honestly can't tell you what all I love about her because it's just about everything ^_^
And this is an odd question, you said you used Tria markers right? is that in the background color too? it almost looks like watercolor to me... ah, I need to get my hands of some Tria markers... but I stink at markers so I've been a little hesitant.
