The boy collapsed into a coma after being hit on the head. The young lass quickly called for ambulance.
A year later...
The scene before us is of a hospital room with a young girl sitting as she talks to a sleeping boy in the bed. A large window facing the setting sun exposes a winter cityscape. There room is fairly plain with little furniture and some medical equipment attached to the sleeping patient. A small vase filled with slightly withered flowers is placed on a table next to the bed. The girl glances towards them. She returns her gaze back and begins to speak.

"Do you need anything, I could get you some water if you want" she offered.
