Well, this has been floating around my room half finished for days, and finally, it is done. If you've been following my Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon stuff, you've likely wondered if there would be a Black Lady - hell yes.Shit has hit the celestial fan and there's no one left with the power to save us.
Wait, is that Sailor Moon?

There's alot to comment on here, but what impresses me most is your designh for Black Lady--so detailed and pretty! Love the pearls on her bodice, especially them as a belt, the black moons as the the straps of her gown, and her matching moon anklets! I'm curious about those gemes that she's dropping--do they represent anything or anyone? The Outer Senshi perhaps? The masked fellow (not sure if he's Mamoru) has a pretty mask design, I like the lavendar color and the gem. Also, did you do this with watercolors? If so, double wow!

I knew the outfit couldn't be overly sexy, so she only has a hint of cleavage. I then thought about motifs during the detailing process, so she has the princess pearls, the broken hearts dangling from the belt, the black moons for straps, and very importantly, the silver and gold black moons hanging from her necklace. They represent the two crystals she is determined to combine to form the ultimate power to destroy the planet.
That masked fellow is Mamoru, in his PGSM outfit. The stones are the Shitennou. If you go into my Sailor Moon gallery, look for pics about Chiba Usako and Elegant Mask, they will explain what happened leading up to this.
Because there is no Crystal Tokyo in PGSM, I altered Chibiusa's story. She is now Chiba Usako, 16 year old daughter of the leaders of Crystal Earth, the most influental charity organisation on the planet. They're busy people and spend a lot of time travelling, so she's developed the same fierce independence (and loneliness) as the Chibiusa of the manga and anime. Usako doesn't dream of being a great and elegant woman, but does worry that her heart will never be as big as her mother's.
The stones she tosses aside are the Shitennou, her beloved guardians. In the future, the Black Moon put her parents (as well as the other former senshi and their husbands) in a coma and the Shitennou were made stones. Usako carried these stones around in a pouch, which she treated with care. As Black Lady, they have outgrown their usefulness.
The piece was made with watercolour pencils for the base, and derwent inktense pencils for the shading.

That's right. Usagi's in her third trimester when Usako goes back in time. It was hinted in the Special Act that Usagi had morning sickness.
