In honor of Maximilien Marie Isidore de Robespierre's 254th birthday today, I made this.LOVE the French Revolution.
I know the picture doesn't even look like him but whatever, it's his birthday.

He made the most democratic constitution ever given to France... but never applied it and maintained the Commitee of Public Safety (which meant : relatively paranoid dictature)
He said he was against death penalty... unless the homeland was declare "in danger"! (War with European monarchies and French royalists still continued after his death, so we'll never know how sincere he was ^^)
Probably one of the most ambigous figure I found in the French Revolution period. But he still pretty much a bastard for what he did (ask Danton
