Thanks! It was actually raining under these trees - cypress (like redwoods) gather the fog with their leaves, it condenses and then drips down in big fat drops the moisture and temperatures were soooo nice!

have you been up here? well worth the drive (we loved it even with the fog - have missed the ocean mists being inland now for over three years ...I forgot how curly my hair gets )

No, I've never been to Point Reyes. But living in Monterey we get plenty of fog

Oh yeah I know And you have lots of the same kind of views with the wind sculpted cypress trees there too In Bolinas Bay there's an Audubon facility that I want to visit in the spring when the egrets are nesting
