Description
Point Robinson's small lighthouse northeast corner of Maury Island in Puget Sound, this lighthouse marks the halfway point between Seattle and Tacoma.Before 1925, Maury Island was only accessible by boat or bridge at high tide. Now, however, the island is easily reached from the larger Vashon Island, via a paved road on a narrow strip of land.

It would be!! There are two keeper's homes that you can rent close by - we didn't take any pictures of them because people were staying in them, but a fun idea! [link]

ty ruth, I bookmarked it. We were looking at a series on bora bora. I would love to go there. I checked out the prices which really werent to bad but maybe we need to stick to our plans for a trip east..

My hubby had promised me a trip to Australia for our five year anniversary but at that time Cait was a bitty baby and there was no way we'd spend that much time on a flight 
My parents went to Fiji as a stop over and get acclimated on they're way to South Africa way back in the 70's. Bet things are a little different now :now:

I think they did - but by the time they got home and told me about it, they'd had three months and circled the globe to cover over it... my father was teaching in Australia and South Africa, one week each with two months in between planned so they could see things

how exciting is that. I suppose I was pretty fortunate to have seen all that I have. Been to europe ( not counting being born there) 5 times and seen lots of places there and lived in 4 states and seen about 20 of them.
