Can I give you some honest feedback that I've been thinking about for a long time? It's always just a matter of personal taste, but there are so many of your photos I basically like, but usually find the frames are either intrusive or overpowering. This particular piece works well *also* because the frame does not intrude.

lol, I get such conflicting opionions on my frames but if you look at my current pieces you'll see that I have been moving away from the larger "framed" look...I think I was doing it because I was so pleased as to having mastered the ability to do them - I have a "hands on" graphic design degree from 30 years ago but the computer art at that time was still in the deeper than dark ages I've only been using photoshop for the graphic work - frames, etc. - for a couple of years (as I can convince my daughter to teach me something specific) and I was having fun playing... I sometimes do them to either accent or hide some part of the photo, or I do it as a display like a piece would be framed and matted for hanging on my wall...but thanks for letting me know your feelings

it was a cool old cattle pen, the logs were held together with baling and barbed wire...lots of fun textures and such

Thanks! It was up in the mountains off of Mormon Emmigrant Trail...a lovely 77 degrees instead of the 100+ down in the valley
