Love this one! Really like the whole series, it's so fascinating. Ship on a sea of grass.

I have more, of course, but these are my favorite I want to go again at a different tidal time! It does look like a sea of grass

Nothing that can't be fixed with a coat of paint and an oily rag!

Hey Ruth, check this guys site and check out his web site. Read the equipment he's using on his site to get some really good macros.

He makes some fabulous claims about his setup. I don't know if I believe them. Some of his photos have that: 'taken in a light box' look to them. In another you can see canopied lighting in the spiders eyes, so the lighting is way to even for a pop up flash.

thanks it is a "well known" wreck, at least among the camera club I belong to I've seen lots of photos of it so it was fun to actually see it in person!!

For the post-processing I used an hdr program called Dynamic HDR - it has a free download and is easy to figure out...

Although, I saw this wreck here for the first time, but I'm confident you made it look better than everyone else's pictures. And I'll be sure to check out the software. WOW! I always learn something from you

haha! now I understand what you were talking about.

About the HDR, It puts a very prominent watermark(photomatix) on the picture after processing it. I reckon it's because I haven't paid for it. Only that makes it annoying.

OH no...I didn't know that it did that...I got a free version that doesn't put watermarks on. Sorry.

Ah, All it needs is some fresh timbers and rot doctor

Everyone could use a fixer-upper! Great shot though, Love the rust colors on the boat.

Reminds me of me! Slowly listing to one side, gathering rust, getting older and more decrepit with each passing year. At least I can get back in the water, swim, and get rejuvenated.
