Wow, very nice, can I know how did you make the effects like they were a painting?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kayceeus In reply to MissNooy [2008-02-03 22:14:53 +0000 UTC]

I did the painted look by using different textures, modes and opacities. I just put on and take off the textures until I have a look I want, thank you!!

this is a pretty fantastic job, i had no idea stuff like this could actually be done.
however childish this may sound i hope i could actually paint the way you make these pictures. Truly inspiring

kayceeus In reply to graysim [2007-05-14 18:58:12 +0000 UTC]

It doesn't sound childish to me at all, I'd love to be able to paint that way too. Traditional artists amaze me!!

Your pictures have a wonderful sense of antiquity to them and I really love old pictrues and paintings. (A big history nerd right here!)

You blended her in impecibly here!!!

Wow!

(P.S. I wish I could comment all of your pictures but I'll do a few a day at a time. I think I must have opened about 40 of them now )

In keeping with a spatial familiarity in open Prairie landscape, the artist once again appears to delve into a bit of 19th century romanticism or even a bit of impressionism here with recurring elements that seem to define her work. Present once more is the bird in flight, perhaps a symbol of freedom, or merely a beloved iconic figure? Overhead a contrasting sky gives way to a still pond and a somewhat barren and earth toned horizon with leafless trees and a return of autumnal tonality. The artists ability to blend elements together has resulted once more in a spectacular almost watercolor styled image which might well hold it's own in personal collections as a print. The Foreground figure hints as a wistful nature as well with a sort of daydream expression, perhaps hoping to see a world she's only read about?
