If Erron needed it, he would have it before his enemy even knew his intention with it. He probably sits there grabbing bullets from his pocket as practice. That or he will just use one of his sand grenades as he does during his X-Ray and instead of shooting his enemy, he just shoots himself.

These guys (I.E. Kotal's Team) seem like way more interesting characters anyways. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't get more focus on the MKX Plot but... Oh well... :/ Netherrealm gives and Netherrealm takes I suppose.
