As her attempt to be near him goes on he keeps putting her in to situations that risk her blowing her cover and reveling her true identity. serval times she almost makes the mistake of responding as Lola and not as her boy identity. She constantly has to resist acting like a full on girl. Unable to be her self she abandons a bad idea.
