Description "Action" scene involving two lego lightcycles in a game of Surround. I wanted to do something with an exploded model, and this was perfect. However, all the newly exposed polygons severly lengthened the render time to the point where i had to let it cook overnight.

Modeled in Sketchup
Rendered in kerkythea
Render time: 12 hours

That is awesome. If you had the word "Lego" on the studs, I'd swear this was a photo! What movie had these light cycles?

Thanks - The movie is "TRON," for which there is a massive remake due in a year or so. The original movie was released in 1982. Both are owned by Disney.

very nice, someone from scu should build a render farm, i would if i could lay my hands on enough old computers to do it, like maybe 15-30 computers with pentium/2/3/4 processors would do it.
