Finally finished my most recent drawing!
This drawing of the Trailer Park Boys; Julian, Bubbles and Ricky created using mechanical pencils on 9 x 12È sketchbook paper.
I used a reference photo that I found on Google, original photograph by Sharp Magazine.

I really liked the contrast in the original image and thought it would be a significant challenge and end up looking awesome as a drawing.
I have been working on portraits more and adding a realistic amount of detail with my current favourite medium, mechanical pencil.
I really struggled with the details of both Ricky and Bubbles shirts. I have drawn plaid once before and I had forgotten how painstaking it is.
I am very happy with this drawing, it has become one of my best works so far. It took me quite a long time to do, so much so that I stopped counting the hours or I would get discouraged.

My next step will be finding a good enough company to scan and print copies of my work as prints, otherwise I might be lucky enough to sell the original some day.
