Sorry, I don't mean to bombard you all with my photographs!I've just been feeling a little inspired lately
This is just a random picture I took of my brother Adam, I needed some extra shots for my portfolio, so he *reluctantly* agreed to pose for me.
Wondering whether I should add this to my project of music-inspired images. Only because I had Stationary by Anberlin stuck in my head when I was taking this >_<

Also, this is an amazing picture. the main character in my book, features a dark mysterious rockstar with long black hair, the dark make up, dark clothing, but not goth, just dark rockstar image. will you be able to also do something like that? i really need inspiration for my book cover. maybe the rockstar, with the girl with copper red hair.....something that features a love-hate relationship. its also kind of to do with a skaterp image. i will be so hap py if you can create something like that. hehe.

Wow, this caught my eye and held it for a long time. For some reason it reminds me of my brother too (probably because he'd be just as reluctant to get in front of a camera for me).

In the meantime, start experimenting with the camera you have now! I used to try out a lot of different concepts/looks with my old compact digital camera

well i was going to wait because i have a basic point and shoot canon camera and an ancient film camera that was my dad's and we still have to get a new battery for it since the old one died, seeing as it has been siting in a cupboard for ten years. speaking of new camera's, any suggestions as to what i should get?

Well the film camera's certainly a start! I think learning with film first helps, because it allows you to be more accurate with your photos. Still experiment with the point and shoot though
As far as a new camera, if you're just starting out with photography in general, I'd definitely recommend the Canon EOS 550D / 600D or even 1000D.
