Description In a few days time it will be Sept 11.
I was thinking about where the technology involved in that terrible event came from...

Full view

the tree and wires are from a photo I took, the textured text is from an old newspaper and the planes, plans and people are from an aviation magazine from 1966 called Interavia no. 4

This is a pretty amazing --- what exactly would it be? Photomanipulated digital collage?

> Photomanipulated digital collage
Yep, pretty much. Combo of hand done collage (the newspaper texture and the plane plans) and digital such as the colouring and layout etc.
Thanks.

Great piece kayne! I remembered the anniversary was coming up, but comlpletely forgot about it the day of. I was too busy driving 3 hours to a "lure coursing" event to meet a Pharaoh Hound breeder to see if I wanted to get a puppy from her. DOGGIES!

Anyway, I love the complexity and simplicity of the piece. Very well done. Nice colors too.

A scrumptious mixture of elements. I recognise that Asian newspaper background! That telegraph pole is very solemn and foreboding, somehow it sets the sombre mood of the topic you are referring to. Well done.

It looks like the text on the electrical wire tower is just text from the computer... would have looked better with actual newspaper. Or maybe I'm wrong. xD

You are wrong...
I cut newspaper into little squares and made a mosaic of them, took me forever !!! hehe

Oh my god. You never cease to amaze me.
The creativity, the composition, the colors...I'm amazed by all the little details you put in, from the black bar over the man's eyes to the seagulls at the top. I think one of the best parts of the entire thing is the two men sealing a deal in the bottom left corner.
Wonderful work, as usual. Your deviations never disappoint me :]
