Agh, I hope this isn't too dark on most peoples' screens. I mean, it's *supposed* to be dark, but not so dark you can't see the details.

This is Aiden, who is entirely lovely. He's yet another character belonging to *Angelswrath , from the book she's writing. I haven't even gotten to read it yet, and I'm already in love with him. I don't want to give away too much, but I *do* want to convey a little bit about his character. Basically, he's a mystery. Man and boy, strength and vulnerability... with eyes both eloquent and unreadable... and alive at all only against all the odds. He makes me wibble in such a good way. *sighs*

Of course, a little of the happy sighing may also be because I was listening to the Byakkoya (White Tiger Field) album by Hirasawa the entire time I was working on this, so now I associate it with him. That album is the most utterly beautiful thing I have heard in MONTHS.

But back to Aiden. He's a little different from my usual type of bishie - scruffy, unshaven, a little more masculine than I normally paint, but I really like it. I also tried for a touch of a vaguely Middle-Eastern look. Dunno if I succeeded in that or not, but meh.
