Description Totally random art dump # 2.

This time, at least the poor guy has a name - Zephyr - which he insisted was his as I was sketching him during Art History class last semester. This one may actually get colored someday - I rather like the pose and outfit.

I like his outfit, very much. It sort of looks simple yet not even close to dull. And his expression is that of a free spirit, sitting in the wind... I like that sort of feeling in a picture. And his hair is nice, with the small braid and all! Zephyr: Gorgeous name. For a beautiful guy. I wanna run away with this guy...

Thanks, I'm so glad you like him! But you can't run away with him - he's mine. Though... I guess I could loan him to you sometime if you ask nicely.

that's a pretty sweet outfit he's got on. in paticular i like the pants, but the cape adds a great effect. he looks like he's ready to spring off the ledge and take flight. very cool!

Beautiful pose
I can feel the breeze gently blowing just looking at it ( haha, no wonder he wanted to be called Zephyr )

and ( this might sound abit weird, but ) I like the way the eyes are positioned in the skull. its brilliant.
usually people drawing anime will just draw pupils on the same plane as the face, and forget about the way they sit inside the skull.

I like his outfit too reminds me abit of atreyu from the Neverending Story ( or what I would imagine him to look like )

I know what you mean about the eyes. Too often people ignore the actual shape (even if it *is* imaginary, there should still be shape!) of what they're drawing. I wouldn't say that I necessarily think about it *that* much when I'm drawing, but I guess I just sort of do it from long habit. And that's cool that it reminds you of Atreyu - I always liked him.
