Ta da! I've been working on this for a while now... Check the mad chalk skillz! HeheThis is my dragon, done in chalk pastels. Inspired by Meatloaf (the band) and my friend's crazy desire to have a dragon painted on the hood of his car... yeah...
I really like how this came out. I feel like there's so much more that I could have done... but it just would have driven me crazy. After a while you just gotta say, okay, it's done. Chalk pastels will do that to ya. So yeah, I like it. The original is on 18x24 inch paper, and as you can see, if fills up most of the space. Oh, and I concluded, after way too much listening to Meatloaf, that the dragon makes the noise from the beginning of the song "I Would Do Anything For Love." Sounds kinda like a cross between a monster roar and the roar of an engine. Very cool. ^_^

Crap, did I forget to mention that I used that picture as a reference? Sorry bout that... I've had this picture up for YEARS and can't believe I forgot, haha.
But even though I did use a reference, my picture is different enough that I didn't /steal/ it... I put a lot of hours into this one.
