Description Well, no thanks to all the people who might have noticed that something was off, but I'm fine and back to normal now, and with a documentation of my experience, no less.
Ignore all that stuff I was blabbering about Sl. Er, him, being fuzzy and all. Sister, feel free to write your horror crossover, the fandom awaits you eagerly.

When it won’t render properly so you miserably stare at the mess of pixels in front of you

You're probably better off. Inserting yourself into a comic with fictional characters is *so* 2005.

Ahhh, so awesome to see you get your inevitable comeuppance at the hands of those you so mercilessly mistreat. I have this little glow inside me right now. *shiny* Also, you are nuts. That seal, oh my God. And also you look about as messed-up (literally and figuratively as I'd imagined you to be. Who knew!)

What's a Tulpa?

About that horror crossover! The plot is really fleshing itself out in my head, so good news! Yesterday, I went out to buy a notebook - because major works demand manuscript form first: the stories you've read from me each have one - and then I papered the cover and did this really cool thing with black and red paint. Wanna see? I'mma upload it now!

Yes, sweet, sweet justice. Crowley and Aziraphale are willing to do the right thing, but it doesn't mean they have to be nice about it. >D

A Tulpa's essentially what Crowley explained it to be, but to elaborate: [link]

In other words, The Slender Man really IS a Tulpa, in the sense that he was invented by some bored people photoshopping pics to create paranormal images in a humourous thread, until one of them came up with him - or, if you prefer, gave a shape and a name to a fear that's been hovering in our collective consciousness since time immemorial. And now he's taken on a life of his own.

Ah, yes, manuscripts. There's something very solid about them, though, isn't there? I generally don't write the stories on paper, though, unless I have no other choice - I rephrase and re-edit so much while writing, basically in constant beta and re-beta mode, that my papers always end up looking horribly scribbly very soon. And then there's the matter of my handwriting which even I have trouble reading. >D

Glad you liked the comic. I hope that explains why I was acting slightly weird and inserting cries for help into my previous drawing and writing in all caps and asking people to come to the forest. I'm glad that my inadvertent depiction of Slendy as huggable did not deter you from your horror-writing efforts.

Sorry, did you say something? I was jumping for joy too much to hear you. *dances*

Ahhh, now it makes sense. ... Aaaand you've just inadvertently helped me further the plot in my mind. *grinning* Oooh, this will be sweet.

Awesome.

Precisely. Unlike bits and bites on a computer, notebooks can be handled. And that's important, I think. Being in touch with one's writing in every possible way.
Me, I circumvent the edit-and-re-editing problem by being very slow. That is to say, revolve the plot and the words over and over in my mind, then start writing at a one-sentence-a-minute rate. It pays. Slow writing also solves handwriting problems. At top speed, even a pharmacist wouldn't be able to decipher my squiggles, let alone myself.

It left me giggling like an idiot. That last panel, man. Priceless.
Rest assured: it didn't deter me one bit. Au contraire. My new goal is to convince people that that... creature... is not huggable. At all. Muaha.

(Saaaay. Have you ever heard of that other tall faceless guy from a series of freeware horror games?)

Yesss. Take your Schadenfreude where you can get it, Sister. >D

Heh, I do it similarly: I come up with the plot and phrasing, down to the last word, during walks/showers/daydreams/whathaveyou, at least for key scenes, then write it out. But no matter how I do it, I still end up agonising over one sentence or another for minutes, debating the merit of putting a certain word in or leaving it out or something. When I do try to do it in manuscript form, there's just a lot of crossings-out on top of each other. >D

The last panel: Yes. That's me. Reaper of Tears, Zombie Queen of Angst. >D

"Saaaay. Have you ever heard of that other tall faceless guy from a series of freeware horror games?"

Well, there's Pyramid-Face from the Silent Hill games, though they're not freeware so they're probably not what you mean. In short, no, I don't think I have.

Thank you, I'm stocking up.

Me, I tend to end up with margins scribbled full, and Xs and circles and Xs in circles, referring to said margin scribbles. Or to small bits of paper stuck in between pages. Speaking of which, counting those, the manuscript comes to some ninety A5 pages. Not bad. Three chapters fully typed and edited so far.

*kzik* Have you met Bob, the Flamboyantly Gay Zombie?

I'm referring to these: 5 Days a Stranger , 7 Days a Skeptic , Trilby's Notes , and 6 Days a Sacrifice . Some of the best horror games I ever played, all by Yathzee Croshaw. The storyline spans all four games, even though the first one can also function as a stand-alone. May seem tame at first, but things get progressively weirder and freakier, and then game four came around, and I had a horrible nightmare about a female member of the pain cult in the fourth game cutting chunks out of her five-year-old son. GAH. The faceless guy doesn't show up till the third game, but this story, also by Yahtzee, shows him doing what he does best: horrendous torture. Enjoy 'em all! The Expedition (Warning: serious gore. Don't have spaghetti near you when you read. I mean it.)

That sounds very good indeed, and no, I haven't seen those things, I'll have to check them out.

By the way, have you been on the Tumblr tag lately? We've been doing movie nights, among other things. (We watched "Gabriel" and "Michael" and tomorrow we're watching "Legion", it'll be great. There's even some RP involved in the chat. >D)

But I've been also streaming while I play Slender, live, with mic commentary. It's been absolutely hilarious. I am now unable to fear him because I"ve somehow managed to twist the situation around into me being the one who's chasing him while simultaneously playing hard to get, while he's all shy, all so we can join in an unholy dark union of love in the end.

Eight chapters finished now, and yes, you should check those things out. Few stories give me nightmares, but that one... Man.

Why no, I haven't had time! Link? *hopeful* Next week, the story will be finished *drama* and then I'll have time again for stuff!

Excuse me, I feel the need to quote a graphic novel. *deep breath* Holy putrifaction of the mercy of the heart of the heavens! Woman! Have you completely lost your marbles? You need to be dragged back to appropriately scared sanity, and I believe I have just the thing: [link] (That's the soundtrack for Dark Trails, and it couldn't be more perfect if it had been written for it.)

Would you believe me if I told you that I lost two years worth of work today and reading this cheered me up more than anything so far? Because that's exactly what happened. I don't even know why, I just started randomly laughing in the middle and couldn't stop. I might be slightly hysterical. Anyways, great comic is great.

Oh, that really, really sucks. I can't even begin to imagine how I'd flip out if I lost so much work.

I'm really glad I managed to cheer you up a bit. And thank you.

Bwahaha, thanks. >D Don't die yet, I have plenty more angst to put you through.

This is what happens when people ignore Easter Eggs/hidden messages I put in my drawings. I spend half a day ranting about it in comic form. >D

At least I managed to get Crowley's arms around me, however briefly. >D

i hope everything's okay with you!

p.s. : i haven't forgotten i owe you >some< replies, but those require me re-reading stuff, which needs time, which i've just lost two weeks of. so please bear with me some more...

And thank you, and yes, I'm fine now, even if I was somewhat peeved that nobody noticed my oh-so-witty cries for help in the previous drawing. >D

It's okay, take your time, if you feel like doing them. ^^
