Description Something like a speedpaint. Nothing too special, but great therapy - it's unbelievably liberating to just scribble away at something instead of labouring over detail the way I usually do.

Never mind. I just read the comments. Different variation of the question then. What program did you use? And was it just white paint?

Thanks for the comment.
I use Paint Shop Pro 8 and yeah, I think it was mostly either just white or a very light blue...

I like the simplicity of it. What did you use? Chalk?

Thankies. ^^
The steam and the snowflake trail? Just drew some scribbles and then smudged them like hell with a large smudge brush with high opacity - about 60-70%. I think I may have also set a rather high or rather low Step but I can't remember... and I don't know what the Photoshop equivalent of that property is. By Step is the spacing between the brushstrokes, so a very high Step would make a trail of dots rather than an opaque line.

the photoshop equivalent.. spacing maybe? what soft are you using? anyway thanks :] mind if i use that technique sometime?

Yeah, probably spacing. Not sure about soft, I think it was the default soft for the smudge brush... But anyway, you could try it out and see what it looks like with different softnesses.
And by all means, use it, it's not like it's copyrighted to me or anything! XD

Nicely done. I've never speed-painted...it does sound cathartic and liberating though.
