Description About a month ago I asked for volunteers to let me draw their characters so I can test out my new style. 
It's not so new anymore, but here ya'll go!



Honestly I'm really so glad with how this came out! Especially since it's not like me to have the patience for things like this. I must really love this new coloring method xD
Pictured here are Xavier , Malcom , Jam , Beryllium , and Abhati ! And some pets; my hands hurt from all the drawing so I don't think I'll name all of them... sorry ;-;

I enjoyed working on Jam and her wonderful, sweet-natured, well-behaved cat the most, although I'm really happy with how Malcom's hair turned out... I'm not sure how I did that, but I like it a lot!

ERMERGERD! I adore your colors! They're so vibrant! Seeing al the pinks and blues next to each other gives everyone so much depth!
And the way you repeated everyone's color pallets throughout their panels unifies it so well!
This is just so pretty! And everyone's so adorable and happy! I love it! *Mashes fav button*

Ah, thank you so much! I had so much fun coloring this. I kind of went overboard with all the blue and green shading though, haha xD But I'm so glad you like how it came out! All five of them are so different-looking and have different personalities and I was so excited about getting to draw them all and try to make them look different ^^

Ohhh my gosh these look absolutely fantastic and of course I am gonna say Abi with little Berry is my favorite surprise surprise >u< . Close seconds are Abi and of course Berryllium and like Saki said below it's fantastic the amount of attention you paid to the different details, especially with the skin color as I was particularly pleased to see that Abi's tan was super obvious as I had hoped it might be >u<
Because next to Rhys who can really tell what's a dark tan :'D
Anyway I shall stare at this for a few more hours and just squee at the amazingness that is this >u<

I'm so happy you like this!! It was a pleasure to draw your cutie magikarp; I love it when people make adorable characters based on unappreciated Pokemon, and Abhati was so much fun to draw, with her tan and her lovely flooftastic hair But i'm so glad you like the others as well! Thank you so much! It's a lot of fun drawing different-looking characters side-by-side; I think that the variation in the artists' styles and goals becomes a part of the character, so it means a lot that you think I was successful in differentiating them! ^^

Pff underappreciated pokemon are often my favorites and aside from my group characters I have made loads of gijinkas for practice and end up doing more with >u<

Of course I like this a lot, it is fantastic and you should be really proud of the result <33

Isn't he just the sweetest? Be sure to reliquish any food you may have with you... you know... to reward him for being a sweet kitty.

No but really, you draw Sweetiepie better than I do. Like, he's perfect.  And I like how everyone else is like, chillin' and mellow, and then there's Jam and Sweetiepie being themselves right in the middle. XD

I can't pick favorites! I like them all! I like Xavier's expression, and Mal's hair, and Abhati's pose and Berry's eyes and Jam's.....hi there! She's waving, completely oblivious to her cat's attempt to eat the viewer. XD
I'm glad you got a kick out of the pair of them.

Oh my gosh noo, I just was so inspired by Sweetiepie's cute little face that I just had to do something overboard like this! After all, he's made such an impression on... I'm thinking a lot of people? The contrast between him and Jam is just brilliant, and I had so much fun working on their part of this! xD

But thank you so much! I was so excited to draw so many different characters, especially since they all look pretty different! I love going out of my way to make characters different - it's actually been fun even in my own character development endeavors! I've found I have a lot of oval faces in my collection... I should try to change that up a bit

Omfg yeah Sweetiepie is just... a whole other monster to battle xD I actually read all of the rp log where Winslow and Jam first meet... and I gotta say, I feel so bad for poor old Boomer, putting up with Sweetiepie like that! :'D

Ahaha! Boomer doesn't like cats but tolerates them but oh gawd was Sweetiepie a hard one to tolerate. XD

It looks great! I'm trying to get a hang on my own painting style atm. I hope I can come up with something I like too.

Thank you! I'm so glad you do! Xavier and Gaia were a lot of fun to draw - especially Xavier's hair! I don't get to shade blue hair or blue anything much, so it was a nice little challenge and a lot of fun!

Jam's cat was by far the best part of this whole process, I swear. I was very literally grinning the whole time I drew him

It is absolutely lovely!
It really inspires me to get painting. Your brush strokes are really lovely. <3 The way you use your strokes and colors just vaguely reminded me of her work. You both paint well enough to get me to give digital painting a try. ^^
I love the way you contrast warm and cool colors and show the relationship they have with their pet. There is so much love and personality in this. It is beautiful!

I've definitely been trying to break out of same-face syndrome over the past year, and I feel really good about where I've gotten, so it means so much to me that you think they're all fairly different! ^^ And I'm so glad you like the style as well! This is plain gorgeous. Everyone looks wonderful and unique and you paid so much attention to the details: Not only did you give them
different skin tones but also individual noses and eye shapes. Not to mention the colouring is just amazing.
Naturally, Mal has to be my favourite but I actually love them all equally!
The Pokemon companions are super adorable as well and their button eyes make my heart melt.
Thank you so much for drawing Malcom and Nene, they look so adorable and pretty in your style, I just can't get over it!
You have no idea how I gushed over this to poor Kinshua on skype XD
Fantastic work through and through, this colouring method is wonderful and I hope you keep using it~

Oh my, thank you so much! It means so much to me that you like the coloring style here; I'm pretty happy with the direction it's going so it really makes me happy to hear you like it! Differing everyone's faces was a lot of fun, actually, especially since there are face shapes and kinds of noses I just don't ever think of when I'm creating characters. It's a lot of fun seeing what everyone else thinks looks right for their characters! 
Mal was so much fun to work on, I'm not even joking; she's so adorable that I was just happy I had the chance to draw her I actually went out of order and drew her first haha xD;;
But still, I'm so happy you like this and I'm so happy you like how your precious Eevee turned out! ^^ It was a pleasure to draw her! 
aahaha thank you I just hope I'll accidentally do it again next time I draw long hair because idk what I even did to get it like that :'D
