I agree with Justin-Simpson, the foreground grasses add another layer and help give the shot more depth and almost feel separate from the rest of the image. plus the sloping angle of the horizon breaks up what would otherwise be monotonous if it were a flat horizon line. really looks like an abstract landscape painting waiting to happen.
