great shot, a wonderfully peaceful scene with a most appropriate title. sure, I'd love to go and sit for awhile there, recollecting thoughts, refocusing, refilling my creativity... but this place is so far away. yet you bring a piece of it to us through this, and even that helps. thanks!

This is great!
Love the composition, the vivid color! The sailboat in the corner is a great detail and anchors that corner. I love the way you supersaturate some of your shots.
Only one criticism (and it's a pet peeve so take it as my crankiness or constructive crit or as you like), no disrespect intended:
Watch your horizon lines esp when shooting seascapes! This one tilts to the right, and IMO is the only thing that keeps this from being one of my favs.

Thank you. I've had that pointed out to me also by =SnapperRod things that I don't always notice are horizon lines and the wonkiness...how does the image look to you now? I know that I have to work more on the IMO as I am taking shots, but I've tried rectifying this with a little editing. Does it work better ?

I know I've ruined hundreds of shots by not paying attention to details like horizons/backgrounds.
Your newest I fav'd is spot-on as it is.
suggestion: shoot 10% bigger than you intend at the highest resolution your camera has, with the idea of affording to lose some of the perifery in cropping.
