~In my headcanon~Rainbow Dash had gotten together with her old school bully and they had a child. Rainbow's career had changed, and was now more dangerous than before. The Wonderbolts now did what they intended to do and patrolled the skies to protect Equestria from any threat.
One day Rainbow lost her wing due to an accident while on the job. She was outfitted with a prosthetic wing, as she didn't want the feeling of an empty space at her side.
Her son sobbed when he saw her injury. "Mommy hurty *sob*"
She knelt down in front of him. "It's ok. Mom's ok. It doesn't hurt."
