So- can you sense what this weeks theme was for art? That's right- Disney. I have some Disney stuff in my books but most of it was really old and while I liked the Jasmine I had from a year ago meh my style has improved and I can now properly mimic the Disney 'look' while adding in my own touches.

Google Image Search- HOW. I. LOVE. THEE. Found a page from a coloring book thought "ZOMG I WANNA RAJAH!" because seriously, I loved him when I was a kid. I also liked that Jasmine wore pants. Yes, puffy pants and a crop top but it was the 90s. Deal with it. XD

When I first penciled this I had the background that was on the original image I was referencing but I chose to opt out of it by the time I set to inking. I am keeping my Disney stuff this week 2 characters max and background free if it is a single character (ie my Snow White) there is an object with them for something more 'interesting'. Leaning more towards scenes and not just poses.

Super proud of how the coloring of her costume came out as my light colored BGs have been in desperate need of refills so I was pretty bare bone there and was worried I'd have to go 'blue'.

I wasn't thinking about it until I set to coloring how fantastic their colors compliment each other! LOL that was a bonus. Yeah I know I effed up his stripes by the time I was penciling Rajah's stripes and Jasmine from the end of her top down I was no longer working with the image in front of me.

It was fortunate I was at my mothers so I ran to the basement and found my old "HOW TO DRAW: DISNEY'S" books- I had a few as a kid none of them actually tell you how they just show you what professionals do and no it doesn't start with circles and lines >.< but it had an image of Jasmine (you know the one, her knee bent up on toe arms in the "w" pose with a bird on her hand?) I had to go look to confirm... THAT WOMAN HAS DARN TINY FEET!

Anyways- done on X-Press It Blending Card with Copic SP Multi-Liners .005, .01, .03, .05, .07, Brush Nib& Copic Multi Liner 1.0 (please make SP?) over BIC Mechanical Pencil with Copic Sketches for color.
