Ahhhh we’re entering into another really good arcccc. Ugh there’s just tons of really good arcs in the first season if you ask me. But i loveee the st beasts. It’s so fun to move from the Rando arc into this arc. I knew right away i had to do a scene where all the group was together. I mean. Come on. it’s where everyone first meets! I love it.
You got Kuwabara all pissed off at Hiei, Hiei all “rrawwggg humans are weak and kuwabara is stupppiiidddd,”, Kurama’s unsure of everything, and Yusuke’s like jesus christ we need trust games!

When this story arc happened I became SO attached to the series for the reasons you mention above. The character dynamics between the main four are so cool in this arc - great job drawing them in your style, I especially love Hiei, I think you nailed his expressed.

right! the next episode involving the gate of betrayal is what really cinched it for me regarding the whole team. Thanks! Normally i have an easier time drawing Kuwabara and Hiei is hard for me to draw, but recently it's switched. hiei seems easier to draw, and now Kuwabara is hard to draw. @^@;;; i think my style is changing a bit.
