Description MEDIA: Markers (from a 50-marker set).

I ultimately named this one Shelly because I was listening to some of Shel Silverstein's poems when I was finishing the coloring of this OC for the Busytown-Fan-Club . She is last-named Poppy because I decided she would be a distant cousin of Miss Poppy from the Busy World of Richard Scarry episode "Denys at Camp" (Yes, they did spell Dennis's name like that in that episode). However, she would not know about that.

UPDATE: Shelly's great-grandfather and Miss Poppy's great-great grandfather were brothers, meaning they had the same third-great grandparents at latest.
So, first cousins share the same grandparents, second share great-grandparents, and third share great-great-grandparents, but that only works if they're the same number of generations. However, one cousin's grandparent being another's great-grandparent makes first cousins once removed, and if the most recent common ancestor (MRCA) is great-grandparent to one, and great-great-grandparent to another, the cousins are second cousins once removed... that makes Shelly Miss Poppy's... I think that makes her her second cousin once removed. UPDATE 2: Miss Poppy is said in this fandom to have a second cousin who had Shelly as a daughter.

Anyway, I've decided that Shelly would be a foster kid because she only had a single father, and he ended up homeless, and put her in foster care because he didn't want her going through it.

I wonder what the foster parent in question should be. I doubt Miss Poppy would do it.

Should she be attending Mrs. Murphy's kindergarten class?

I based the two colors of Shelly's pinafore off two things to do with Lynnie Raccoon: the animation error in "Summer Picnic" (where it was wrongly colored blue) and the book version of "Billy Dog's Bad Day," where its was purplish-pink.

Does any fan of that show have an idea of one or two foster parents of the sort?
