Description

Another infrared shot, back to the same spot across from the JW Marriott.

This is probably one of my favorite shadow/reflection spots, however it only shines off the skywalk around this time of the year, so will probably stay that way for another month or so, and then one of the buildings will block the sun from hitting the skywalk just right (there's also a very brief time in the late summer that it does it too).

Because of the IR filter in front, this is 1/4th of a second shutter, f/3.2 at ISO 400 on my Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 lens (40mm equiv).

Thanks, even though it's only 1/4th of a second. I tend to prefer going into several seconds to minutes with long exposures such as here : karlblessing.com/galleries/lon…
Though probably wouldn't easily capture the motion of people/cars that way.

And since it's Infrared on a camera that hasn't been modified to un-block it, long exposure is an inherit need when capturing it.
(more IR here if no found in my DA profile karlblessing.com/galleries/inf…

I have a broken Olympus E-M5 (the older one to the E-M5 I have now), I been thinking about sending it off for repair (about $170 is their flat rate), and then having it modified to either a dedicated Infrared or Full Spectrum camera (full spectrum just replaces the filter in front of the sensor with clear, so then you can do IR or normal by putting a filter in front of the lens), but that course would run about 250 by itself.
