A great update on a fun theme!Β Yes we are showing our age but those were fun times, cartoons that didn't have to be real life 3d stuff, just fun plots, if somebody got hurt or shot we knew it was just a joke, didn't need to go on a killing spree and claim I learned it from my cartoons (and if I did I would be laughed at because nobody learned from those shows, we just laughed and enjoyed!).Β OK enough of my soapbox, I love what you have done and you have a great mind, and a great eye to recapture this time in history (our childhoods).Β I would love to see some more of the wacky racers or Dastardly and Muttly's flying circus...."catch that pigeon!".Β Have fun and stay young in your mind....it shows!

Thanks grfishman
"Showing my age"! Yes now there is a scary thought, and of course the realisation that i am 47 in just under three months, it sure is nice to hang on to what youth i had back then?
If this week has had anything to go by, it seems my body has given up on my youth in the last few weeks and my once non existent kid allergies are now coming back to bite me in the ass ten fold with my hey fever and now for some reason a sweet corn allergy kicking off and caused me to have time off work???
But enough of my soap box and yes i can concur with the whole "Oh he learned it from cartoons or video games" argument?
To me it sound more like a lame excuse for pointing the finger of blame in certain media groups instead of looking closer to home with society we create and the persons we admire as a whole...
I wanted the "Compact pussycat" Β to be a little more wilder and modern than it is, but i have realised from experience now that going that little more wilder in my design doesn't always work well in renders as it does in my imagination, and if anything using the "KISS" method "Keep It Simple Stupid" seems to work best?
This car is something i had in my car stock, which seems to be ever growing these days, rarely used these days as an item but having the separate colour coding for the fenders made it easier to use than trying to create them from scratch.
I just finally tuned it a bit by adding the headers and side pipes, adding my ever present wheels these days and umbrella and wacky paint job, pity about not finding something that resembled the lips on the front but hey hoe you can't win them all?
Started creating "Mean Machine" of Dick Dastardly, but sadly when i finished i wasn't happy with the result, it looked too over done if that is a thing? And was just a mish mash of parts thrown together to make it look like the original, so i started on 2.0 but yet again it kind of went off kilter a bit, so now i am on MK3 so hopefully by close of play today i might have actually accomplished??
Already created the characters of Dick and Muttley and Clyde from the Ant Hill Mob, and may well start work also on Peter Perfect and his Turbo Terrific drag racer.
So Stay Tuned...Β
