Hi there, fellow deviant!
If you have ever searched for your own username on google, you might have noticed a youtube video poping up as a result. This video I created about half a year ago. I wanted to have some pictures for the music I wanted to share, so I searched for pictures here on DeviantArt and found your picture fitting.
What I didn't care for at the time was that I was using someone elses art without asking them. I guess I thought nobody would ever notice my video anyways. But now, when my video reached over 3 thousand views, and one of the deviants whom's art I had taken without permission noticed my video, I started realizing I was actually STEALING art and photos from incredibly tallented people, that knew nothing at all about this! So now, I'm sending this message to all deviants who's art I have used, and now I will ask honestly, is it ok if I keep and use this devitation of yours in my movie?

excellent job here on the whole. Its a very cozy/comfortable picture. For me the flying geese, adds some sort of dynamics to the picture which is really good. I really liked how youve managed to grab the setting suns shine and lustre on the forground reeds, which adds an element of dimenson to the pic. The only small suggestion i might make is that, the piece is very uniform in the positioning of the elements. Adding some more reeds to the bottom right of the piece would really "complete" the piece, i think.
p.s. if you did the trees with a fan blender than good job! I can usually never make trees like tht with those brushes in tht manner.

yes the trees were done with a fan, and i did not add the reeds to the bottom right for compositional purposes. The roundness of the reflection colors is supposed to help bring your eye around the piece. I had students who added reeds there and it looked quite busy, and a bit too uniform, with the shape of the sky, the trees and the pond being so perfect, having the elements of the birds and the reeds help make it more natural by breaking the pattern. I appreciate the positive criticism, and the next time i teach the painting i may just do that to see if it grows on me. i am also replacing the brown in the sky with a mauve/purple which a student did and i loved because it softened the painting quite a bit, giving it a whole new look. Thanks!
