Description
As the sun begins to set and the search is about to end, something catches his eye. After hours of searching this is it... The most glorious apple he has ever seen right in his grasp. His unearthly desires have been answered! The apple shines as though divinity has embraced it itself. He reaches for the most hallowed of fruits and enters a land of eternal pleasure.Changed the description a little from V1
This is Version 2, the addition of sun rays and some touches on the coloring. Tell me what you think.

I like how the sun spreading everywhere brings a harmony of golden color to the peice- and a really nice atmosphere/mood. This is so cute and wonderful! the textures, and details are sweet- like the apple, tree trunk, leaves, grass- so nice!

I like this better then the first version, because in the first one, the blue sky was a little too harsh, I think. I love the clouds in the upper right hand corner. When I first saw this, I thought it was traditinal, as well. Great job.

Mmm, the colors are softer compared to version 1, but it's still very lovely. This seems more like a dream.

I like the coloring of this one alot. ^_^ There is a lovely touch of fairy tale, and the line quality are merged together with the coloring quite well. Lovely work once again.

I thought this was a painting! It's just beautiful! It has such a surreal feeling. The floating flowers make the piece for me, but the apples are pretty awesome too. I am kind of speechless- it's just so amazing

I think the sun's rays look too dark though, and makes the picture look a little muddy
I like the shadow of the tree, the tree itself and the apple in the front, which is lovely.

Atfirst I didn't really warm up to the sunrays, actually I don't think that I have, But I do like the colour more on this, I mean the first version is great, I love it too..it just the hints of the new colours that really just make this seem even more surreal than the last. I really enjoy the way the clouds are formed, I wish i could see them better as in the previous one, but i understand about the glaring sun in this version. Also, the tree's and grass, I really like the the way you painted this, the swirls are bloody awesome. There is something that picks at me though further down, the outlined sections. I have no problem with the line art on the tree...but the outline (along with the outine on the fruit and part of the penguin) of the tree just seem so out of place with the surrounding landsacape. But I really don't mind that..but then again I do

beautiful work, I love it. I can't beleive this has no comments or favs yet. The lighting is great and the line art in the tree looks really wicked. the flowers floating on the breeze make this piece so free and uplifting.
