Decided to just post a painting WIP. One of the few paintings I'm working on.
This creature's name is Talyk.

Inspired by a Chinese Cultural dance performance by Yu Xiao Xue called the Story of the Dancer.I thought that particular dance/concept related to Talyk’s story alot (the dance was really deep to me) and in the dance there were these red robes tied to the waist (lots of symbolism to them in the dance I’m sure). Since Talyk basically drapes himself in layers of long scarves and such, I thought I’d feature his red and gold scarves. Basically the patterns are whatever remnants of his past life in his home country (which he was exiled from to never return, political reasons) Poor guy never gets to go “home” so he is left reminiscing his home country.

Still developing this guy's story so the above is actually outdated... ._. He's part of Kech's univers. (if you didn't know, Kech is actually my main Human oc, developing her universe and story atm as a personal project sort of thing.)
