Description I chose to illustrate the final struggle before Peeta begins to be "hijacked" as a start for my good guy entry for 's contest


Spoilers up ahead.

I chose this scene because I imagined that Peeta would try his hardest to resist the injections of tracker jacker venom in order to prevent them from tainting his memories of Katniss. It wouldn'
t be until he is holded down that his torturers would be able to inject him.

Basically showing the final moments of Peeta before they screw up his brain and he is barely the same anymore.

That would make sense! Since Peeta carries bags of flour and trays of bread, all day, every day. MAKES SO MUCH SENSE

Hahaha.. I never thought of it that way XD I just thought that Finnick looks less manlier than Peeta. Finnick's just hotter. XD But yeah.. it makes sense.

I've been meaning to draw another Peeta picture as I feel kinda bad that this was my first hunger games fan work and it shows him so tortured. XD

Serioulsy, poor Peeta. He does not deserve that and nobody can imagine, even by the lines, how he suffered psychologically and physically less. Peeta would not have been able to undergo this torture and, besides, no one should. Still something that denounces Suzanne Collins.

But to speak of the drawing, this is a beautiful visual representation of what has lived Peeta: horrible, tragic, struggling to see, but true. You did a great job and I think it was time to show what we lived for Peeta remembers. There is not just Katniss who has suffered in history (that's for sure!)

I don't think there is or at least I could'nt find it. Had to use a bit of my imagination for what could have happend to him. Closest I got was from pg. 274 (Mockingjay, first edition) and that was only with his encounter with the Avoxes.
