Patron god(s): Argus and Ignacio...?
Blessing(s):
Summary: Injo was raised believing that Argus was the mother of the herd, the watcher of their thoughts and a guide to their people. In fact, the young mule takes after Argus in noticeable stride - preferring non-binary pronouns, regularly praying and guiding those who are lost. Though they do not obsess over their learning habits, they keep things fresh in their mind.
Injo likes nothing about Ignacio. They have a deep hatred for his children, and is continuously furious with his herd, especially when looking at what he had done to their own so long ago. But reluctantly, they respect his element, fire and light. They use his flames to light their lanterns, and his sun to guide them through the surface world and to light their family's crop. They make a poor attempt at convincing themselves that he's ‘not that bad’ and will send a (admittedly spiteful) prayer to the fire god before going on a long trip, to ensure their light burns bright in the elaborate Labyrinth.

The beginning: Before Injo, or any of their siblings were born, Sake and Shinji hadn't had the thought of having children. Both were reclusive individuals, preferring to shape themselves to their family's standards moreso than to branch off. They led easy lives, Sake being raised up in a prestigious household in Nariah and was well educated, while Shinjo and his family worked the rice fields in a cozy little village just north of The Point.
It seemed as if the number ‘3’ was what led them together. The number itself, though meaningless at the time, was what caused the opportunity to go to Nariah with his brothers, and for Sake to head to the market square for festivities.
The crops had been fruitful that year, and Shinjo's father needed a few helping hooves to lend him a hand in delivering the rice to Nariah for the Night of the New Sun celebrations. As a result, Shinjo and his two younger brothers went down to make the delivery, as well as to celebrate in the heart of the city alongside the rest of the herd.
The band of rowdy bachelors made their way into through the streets after delivering their goods to one of the Royal Family members, the long day now winding to an end. The boys, roughhousing as they went, were off to join the celebrations in the city square. But in the midst of their playing, one of them lost a map through the city that they had used as their guide.
Grumbling, Shinji's brother Leon went off to find a new one, or at least someone who could point them in the proper direction. Shinji's impatience eventually grew though as minutes ticked by and his sibling had yet to return. He turned to the eldest, remarking that he would find his own way through the city, and that he'd see his family at the heart of the festival. Departing from his wait, the stallion turned onto a four way street. Three ways he could go, and after a moment of indecisive mumbling he decided to follow the flow of equine. It was here he ran into a young mare, dressed in silk and gems, who seemed distraught about the loss of her familiar.
