Stupendo! This is incredible!
You're colouring skills are amazing, don't sweat the hand thing, I wouldn't have noticed, lol.
I really love the "patterned" look you have it. Makes the picture look rustic and homey. That mixed with the yellow/orange tone the picture has, it looks super Christmas-ey and cozy.
My favourite thing in this picture would probably be Finland's face. You did an absolutely perfect job on the colours. The bit of blush. And the little highlight on his nose. You put so much detail into this, it's hard to look away.
I've been talking so much about colours and tone that I've forgotten about the lineart. Wonderful. Great anatomy and smooth lines. What more can you ask. (faints)
Well, I don't see how this picture couldn't be perfect. There's a bit of hand anatomy that looks a bit odd on Fin's left hand, but other than that, it's incredible. And the text on the banners. (faints again)
To think this is the first time you've used copics..

No prob, it's such an amazing picture. You can find pics like this in digital (although rare), but it's even rarer to find such good quality work in traditional.
*looks at upload date*
Oh yea.. lol. This was from 2008.

Eh, I wouldn't feel too bad about the "ett" here - it's not entirely grammatically sound, but I fail at Christmas cards and end up writing it half the time myself *g*
And that said, this is utterly adorable, and doubly so by not being entirely moe-anime-styled.

Finnish is perfect - as is the picture itself! Wonderful job. I have studied Swedish for five and half years and my mom used to be a teacher of Swedish and I'd say Swedish speaking people don't use "ett" in front of "gott nyt Γ₯r" when it's a saying as Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year. Otherwise it's correct.
If you want to add the Finnish part for Happy New Year the whole phrase is: "HyvÀÀ Joulua ja Onnellista Uuttavuotta" :3

Oh no, you can find both versions via Google it seems. But even Google agrees with me - there's more results to "my" version C:
Well that's not a bad mistake as you don't know the language.
You're welcome and ... your birthday is the 17th October 1990? You're one day older than me :'D
Oh BTW I shall stalk you and fav this pic~
