He's got armor, a cape, and a dagger to show off his status as a general. OF COURSE He looks like a BOSS. xD More BOSS than Kamina!!

yeah well it took me forever to attach the cape right. :T I wanted the cape to go on kinda like the two elite guards who stand at either side of King Vegeta (you know the ones I mean, with the full-shoulder wraps) but I didn't want the cape to go all the way to the tips of his shoulders. For one, that way looked too much like Shegau and no matter if the old court wore their capes that way, I doubt Prouts would wear anything to make him resemble shegau... and two: Zukuro said he looked pretty ostentatious, and I really had to agree. :T;; Prouts likes simple but effective, hence his every-day outfit being so plain and all, (you know that better than anyone), so I took the cape half-way in on the armor and called it good. He's really proud of the dagger though. It goes on a belt around his hip; the scabbard has the top half of the Saiyan crest on the bottom (the metal part, you know?) and the blade itself has a pretty wicked semi-circle cut out of either side near the end of it, meaning that it would hurt like a sonofabetch to plunge in and then pull back out. Of course it's MOSTLY for status, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't use it if he wanted to...
ALSO, in coming up with the armor I realized I had to make up the DLA logo! D: Blazey's logo was just the words "DLA" written in her fancy handwriting that I simply could not mimic. Also, in Toriyama land, I've noticed logos are either ONE TO TWO LETTERS in English (the H for orange star high, the RR of red ribbon army, the CC for Capsule Corp, the M for Majin) and they are always stylized or included with another shape, OR they are written in Japanese Kanji. If not, then they are just given a decal. But Prouts didn't seem to assume that he could just get away with his men just wearing the royal crest while working in the DLA army, so I made up something similar to the royal crest but different. It still symbolizes the 'five houses of Vegtasei', but it's black and has check-marks and, well, you'll just have to see it when you see it I guess. c:
