Description Done for my Marketing Strategies class this past semester. On the left is a 40 x 110 banner that would be hung up inside of dealerships, and on the right is a standard 8.5 x 11 ad.

As someone who isn't really in to cars all that much (I'm even kind of opposed to them on some levels, to be honest), it was interesting to research the Chevy Volt, and I didn't feel too bad about creating advertisements for this product because it's something that is trying to fix the problem, rather than perpetuate it. And the solution it is attempting to provide is realistic too for the time we're living in. However, even with the tax credit awarded to purchasers of the Volt, the price is still a bit out of the range of the general public, but nevertheless, the technology used within the car has a lot of potential. I did this a few months ago, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details now, and I'm not a car-guy to begin with, so I won't even attempt to explain it myself LOL. But it's smart, efficient, and ecological, trust me haha.

Also, here's a snippet from the rationale that my partner wrote for this project:

"The greatest benefit of the Chevrolet Volt is its versatility as something that is economical and ecological, but still practical even for a family of four. We are proposing the tagline "Propel Yourself" because it reminds the target that they can fuel at home without relying on gasoline suppliers, or that if they are on a long distance trip can still be secure. "Propel" is a dignified word that suggests it is more than just basic transport, justifying the added price over the competition".
