So America is the one who's the "only human"? I like it...I can see how those lyrics would fit him. I need to listen to that song, despite being a fan of Paramore I've never heard it.

Yes, that's about the idea. My idea was that America is escaping a world of seemingly 'inhumane' ideals and practices, mainly objectives of the past. To be the leader and 'hero' of a world crumbling at his feet, more or less. ^^
