i wish i could explain super easily X'D but i'll do my best:
what i usually do for expressions is like pretend a certain thing is happening, even if you look like a complete dork (like i did here) it'll be totally worth it

so yeah, little tip, just get use to your surroundings and picture yourself drawing the picture and being the character you're drawing
