Description
This was originally intended to be a companion piece to Fainting In His Trembling Arms , but that hit the skids pretty early on. Now it's its own seperate piece, mostly on style merits. I made a stylistic change for a couple of reasons:1) I don't yet have a standard Leroux Christine design, so I used my design for ALW Christine (stage!Christine, not movie!Christine).
2) Using my ALW Christine design means drawing in an animation style, as that's the medium she was designed for.
I made poor Erik dying with his head lying on a rock simply because I wanted him to be looking up at Christine. How uncomfortable and undignified for him. Tsk, tsk on me.

Very sad, indeed, but there's a beauty in it that you grasped perfectly in the animation style (something I find most big time animation companies are losing today). Erik just looks so calm and at peace. Hell, I even feel for Christine in this and I usually hate her. A very hauntingly sad moment, but beautiful all the same.
