Week 16 - Cloudtail from Warrior Cats

I woooooullllld have done a quote but I didn’t think I should have. Anyways, this is Cloudtail…a classic white cat with blue eyes. There wasn’t much I could have done with him besides making him all poofy and thick-thurred. I tried to do something special with the tail and give him some cloud-like markings but that was it. White cats are hard to make ‘good’ because of the solid white colour. It really relies all on shading. Hopefully I did that well.

I got this pose from yet again another Manga book from the series. When I think of Cloudtail I think of a teenager rebelling, he just wanted to do his own thing and wasn’t that afraid to speak his mind. So having him hissing with his fur sticking out seemed like quite the good idea. As for the background, just a normal blue with some cloud-like shapes to reinforce that….this dude is Cloudtail! I mean, I really like the character but he’s like my Ditto image, not much I can really do. I mean there is some amazing art of both characters but I am definitely not at that skill level to do anything extreme.
