This is based off the scene where Basil grabs Cluny's cheeks and says "Ugly-looking brute, aren't you?" I wondered what it would be like if Basil did that Slagar. So here it is! Hope you all enjoy!

Yep. Chickenhound, the little foxy from Season 1 got bitten by the snake, and the poison from the snake's teeth drove Chickenhound insane (being raised by a healer, Chickenhound knew where to find several herbs to keep himself from dying), and he ended up renaming himself "Slagar".

Whew, you've got a *lot* of reading to do. There are *TWENTY* Redwall books, not counting all the little picture books.
But don't faint now! They're worth the read!
I strongly suggest that you read the books in the order they were published, because it seems like the people who read them in that order seem to have a greater appreciation for the series. Or that's what it seems like to me. Plus you'll be able to understand the series better as well, so yeah...

LOL Just start slow, read the first Redwall book and work your way up. You might even be so engrossed in the books that you won't notice how many books you've read!
