"Artists sometimes respond to social issues to create a work of art. Your objective is to create a self-portrait wearing a medical mask. You may use any material to draw/paint or create your work of art." This was one of my assignments when I was told I was not going to school for two weeks due to the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 outbreak. The point of the project is to bring attention to this very real issue. I thought I could express myself as well as do what I was told to do. So I did just that.
