News spread through the whole of the pack that more unexplained deaths had befallen them with the turn of another season. This time however, they had been accompanied by a strange stone circle beside the bodies, something that had not been seen before. And Finn was relieved he hadn't been the one to discover any of it when news had finally reached his ears. And while it seemed to many that he didn't seem to notice or even care for that matter, Finn did. It bothered him that he did not understand why. And simultaneously he wrested with a part of himself that didn't want to find out either.

Passerby's one morning in the wake of the discovers caught sight of the male sitting alone facing the Great Water with the breeze against his back. At the sound of paw-falls he turns, nervous smile struggling to rise in place in light of all that has happened.

"At least it wasn't one of us?"
